Bonded Celebrates Double Win at the Global Social Media Awards!

We’re proud to share that this commitment has earned us two prestigious wins at the Global Social Media Awards: the Rising Star Award for our Media Assistant, Sasha Stewart, and Best Use of Research & Evaluation for our Winter 2023 campaign with NE1, delivered in partnership with Different Narrative.

Rising Star Award: Sasha Stewart


Sasha joined Bonded in 2022 as an apprentice and has quickly become a vital member of the team. Now a Media Assistant, Sasha plays a key role in managing both paid and organic social media campaigns. From crafting content strategies to delivering tailored performance reports, she ensures clients receive measurable results.

The judges recognised her proactive approach and the significant impact she’s made in such a short time:

“This individual has left a significant imprint on both the business and the team, despite such a short space of time. Their impressive achievements foreshadow a bright future ahead.”

Reflecting on the win, Sasha shared:

Best Use of Research & Evaluation: NE1 Winter Campaign
Our second win highlights the success of our collaboration with Different Narrative on NE1’s Winter 2023 campaign. Tasked with increasing footfall to Newcastle’s city centre during a crucial time for local businesses, we used in-depth audience research to tailor our approach across Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat.

By aligning each platform’s strengths with audience behaviours, we delivered a campaign that exceeded all expectations, driving record footfall into Newcastle during the holiday season.

The judges were impressed by our approach:

“The campaign’s impressive use of research and segmentation, combined with relevant media selection and user-generated content, added depth and delivered excellent results.”
