We understand that our diversity is our strength. We have a responsibility to innovate and lead the industry, and we embody a culture of health and wellbeing that inspires our clients and employees.

Engaging people and improving health and businesses
Virgin Pulse gives companies the right tools to help prioritise their employee health and wellbeing.
With a wealth of social features and mini-challenges, it breaks down silos and brings together employees wherever they are – all with a dose of team-based friendly competition. Designed to engage employees, ignite culture and connect people – our challenges harness the power of fun and team rivalry.
Our gamified solution even allows people to work together to compete in a step challenge that takes them on a journey around the world. Allowing teams to build healthy connections and share accomplishments.
By connecting people, data, and technology, every user gets served up a unique, engaging experience. Individuals are empowered to make small, achievable changes that result in meaningful outcomes.
The benefits also extend to workplace health with a reduction of 28% in absenteeism rates due to physical and mental health concerns, complemented by a robust 38% surge in productivity.
Frequent engagement with Virgin Pulse has led to tangible improvements for 39% of the surveyed members who felt more energetic, whilst stress levels were halved for 50% of users. Further achievements include health markers such as improved blood pressure, weight regulation, and cholesterol levels, evident in 65% of the surveyed members.
Making an impact
Fuelled by an annual investment of $70 in continuous Research & Development, our platform caters to over 45 mental health and wellbeing topics across more than 20 languages. The AI-powered personalisation ensures that our global members receive the most relevant content.
A compelling example of our impact is the 2023 case study from a global energy firm, which successfully deployed Virgin Pulse to over 50,000 employees across 60 countries in 2021. Upon engagement, a promising 70% of participants maintained or increased a healthy step count, and 76% achieved or maintained a healthy BMI index.
With every step taken, Virgin Pulse reaffirms its commitment to drive sustained behavioural changes, encouraging achievable tasks, motivating with timely reminders, and celebrating victories, big and small, with intrinsic and extrinsic rewards.
Our award entry
We entered the Global Social Media awards with our ‘Employee Wellbeing Month’ campaign. We observe this every June, but last year was extra special as we celebrated our 15th year of Employee Wellbeing Month.
Developed to engage our people, clients and prospects – and raise awareness for physical, emotional, mental, financial, social, and community needs – this campaign is always a huge success.
To celebrate our 15th year we created and shared the ’30 days of Employee Wellbeing Calendar” which encouraged small and healthy actions each day. With people encourage to share their own personal health journeys via social media on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter with the hashtag #showusyourwellbeing and #employeewellbeingmonth
We saw an amazing response from the campaign with people really picking up the idea and running with it. People shared everything they did to look after their wellbeing and self-care routines. Other organisations took their own spin on it too, and this annual campaign is being adopted by our clients yearly.
We’re really excited to have been shortlisted for a Global Social Media Award. Winning the award would be a fabulous acknowledgement to our teams who put in an incredible amount of effort to ensure that we are always delivering engaging and interesting content to our followers, ensuring that we are always helping to change lives for good.
