At Trickle we are content distribution, and results-driven, specialists with a love for data, timing, message and targeting. Our motto? Trickle, don’t spray.

Last June, we were approached by our client,The Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority, about a campaign aimed to create awareness about sexual harassment at work. The campaign aimed to address sexual harassment in the restaurant and nightlife industry, specifically focusing on real-life examples.

After a brainstorming session, we quickly created a strategic plan to attack this campaign. The campaign presented a good opportunity for us at Trickle to make a meaningful impact on the target audience regarding a very important issue in the workplace.

We had two main goals for the campaign
1. Raise awareness about the issue of sexual harassment within this industry
2. Educating and guiding the younger generation on the importance of knowing what is right and wrong in the workplace.

By leveraging social media platforms with high engagement among the youth, such as TikTok, Snapchat, and Instagram, we developed short, impactful videos that resonated with the audience by incorporating relatable scenarios and popular trends. Despite challenges with negative comments, the campaign fostered positive discussions, showcasing a strong community response in support of the important topic.

The campaign achieved several million impressions and significantly exceeding engagement expectations, and offering valuable insights into young people’s views on workplace sexual harassment.

About Trickle

At Trickle we work with both the private and public sector, and therefore often work with a variety of different types of campaigns. And the variety is something that we love. We are a content distribution company based in Sweden, Norway and Helsinki. We are counting around 40 amazing people across offices, who are super curious and passionate about distribution and performance. For this campaign, the people on the team are based in the Oslo office.

At Trickle we focus on smart targeting of ads, channel selection and campaign optimization. This ensures that we avoid wasting advertising budget on ineffective ads and maximise the benefit of available resources. We also offer a variety of other services such as strategy development, content distribution, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), measurement and analysis, content adaptation, and workshops.

Testimonials and what it means

For us at Trickle, participating in awards is not just about recognition; it is a testament to our dedication to deliver great results for our clients. Being shortlisted in competitions like the “Global Social Media Awards” validates our innovative approaches and successful strategies. It is an opportunity for us to showcase the significant impact of our work and gain both publicity and recognition for our hard work.

We believe it is incredibly important for agencies to participate in awards and competitions. This not only showcases our achievements but also highlights the commitment to delivering significant results for our clients. Being shortlisted or even winning in such prestigious competitions serves as a testament to the innovative approaches and successful campaign strategies that we create.

“In my role as project lead, I want to give a big shout out to my team, for the hard work and dedication to the project. I’d also like to express our gratitude to our client, The Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority. Their trust and support have been instrumental in the success of this project. From the initial stages of concept development to the execution of the campaign, their confidence in our team and our ideas has been unwavering. This trust not only allowed us the freedom to develop and implement our strategies but also reflects in the positive outcomes we’ve achieved.” – Johann Gaukstad-Ytredal, Distribution Lead, Trickle Oslo.

To conclude, the campaign surpassed the goals set by us and the client. The client also expressed that “we are very satisfied with the efficient utilization of a low budget, where reaching such a challenging target group with success in other channels is almost impossible”. – The Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority,

We will also use this opportunity to congratulate everyone that is shortlisted alongside us in the category “BEST LOW BUDGET CAMPAIGN”. Also a big thanks to the Global Social Media Awards and Don’t Panic Events.
