Being recognized by the Don’t Panic Awards for our efforts is a testament to the importance of the work we’re doing, It’s a reminder that the conversations we’re fostering and the connections we’re building are making a tangible difference in people’s lives. Every attendee who found solace in our events, every person who felt seen and heard, is a testament to the impact of our campaign.
When we embarked on this campaign, our only aim was to destigmatize mental health issues and foster an environment where people felt empowered to seek help and support, we had no idea it would become a global inspiration. This is not just a validation of our past efforts but also a motivation to continue pushing forward, it’s a reminder that our work is far from over and there are still countless individuals out there who need our support.
Mental health is an ongoing journey, and while we’ve made strides, there’s always more we can do to create a more inclusive and supportive society. Too often, its shrouded in silence and shame, leading individuals to suffer in isolation. Through the “We Go Again” events, we wanted to break this cycle and create spaces where people could openly discuss their struggles, share their stories, and find comfort in knowing they’re not alone.
Our We Go Again campaign wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our community, whether it’s through attendance at our events, sharing their stories, or spreading the word about our initiatives. It’s a testament to the power of solidarity and collective action in effecting change.
